About Kids Hubs
Medicare Mental Health Kids Hubs provide a safe and welcoming place where children, and their families, carers, and kin, can access free mental health and wellbeing supports and services.
Kids Hubs are designed for children aged 0 to 12 years who are experiencing mild to moderate developmental, emotional, relational and/or behavioural challenges.
Connecting with Kids Hubs is easy:
- Walk in to your nearest location or call them to make an appointment – you don’t need a diagnosis or referral.
- You can also call 1800 595 212 for information about the Kids Hubs and other mental health and wellbeing supports in your local area.
Kids Hubs are not a crisis service. If you need urgent help, call 000 or access crisis support services.
How Kids Hubs can help
A variety of services and supports programs are available through Kids Hubs to support the healthy development and emotional wellbeing of children and their families, including:
- care coordination
- treatments and therapies
- initial assessments
- diagnostic services
- parenting, attachment, relationship and family system support
- access to health professionals such as paediatricians, psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers and allied health workers.

Designed for your community
Kids Hubs are delivered by the Australian Government in partnership with all states and territories. The supports and services provided at each Kids Hub have been designed with, and for, its local community. This means the services and supports available vary across each location.
Quality of care from Kids Hubs is supported by the National Service Model, which has been developed in consultation with leading experts to ensure consistency in their establishment, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.

Mparntwe (Alice Springs) Medicare Mental Health Kids Hub
First Nations families living in Mparntwe (Alice Springs) and surrounding areas.
Brisbane Kids Hub
Support for families in the Caboolture-Morayfield area in North Brisbane, and the Yarrabilba-Logan area in the South.
Gold Coast Kids Hub
Currently clinics are located across the Gold Coast, from Palm Beach to Pimpama.

Tasmania Kids Hubs services are delivered in close collaboration with Child and Family Learning Services.

Support for parents, caregivers and families with children and expectant parents in the Burnie local government area. - Tagari lia Child and Family Learning Centre (Bridgewater)
Support for parents, caregivers and families with children and expectant parents in the Brighton local government area and surrounding area. - Muylatina Child and Family Learning Centre (East Tamar)
Support for parents, caregivers and families with children and expectant parents in the Invermay, Mayfield, Mowbray, Newnham and Rocherlea and Lilydale, North Lilydale and Underwood communities.
Partnered with Medicare Mental Health Kids Hubs, the Children’s Health and Wellbeing Locals are services for children and their families living in the following areas:
